Hugh Crosby was born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia back in the days when milk was delivered door to door by a horse-drawn wagon. A self-taught artist, Hugh works in both watercolour and acrylic. He paints in a realistic style, capturing the landscape of his province and occasionally that of lands afar. Part of his forty-five-year career as an artist was spent on Prince Edward Island where he ran his own gallery, spreading his works into private and public collections worldwide. Hugh now makes his home in Beach Meadows, Nova Scotia.
