Artist Statement

I paint with watercolour, oil and acrylic and do sculptures in wood, alabaster and marble. Most paintings and sculptures are impressionistic, reducing the images to as simple a form as possible, sometimes to the point of abstraction. In terms of content, I paint and carve things I like and that have meaning in my life.
