Cheryl Greenberg was born in Kitchener, Ontario. She has always had an interest in art from her earlier university days. After moving to the Halifax area, she pursued further studies with various art groups, attending workshops with such artists as Don Pentz, Roger Savage, Nancy Stevens, Jean Hancock, and Tom Forrestall. She attended Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, completing courses in their Continuing Studies Department, and then in their Fine Arts Department where her studies are ongoing. She completed a Visual Arts Certificate there in 2012. She also has had international experience, having lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Toulouse, France, where she continued her studies and joined in exhibitions. Her most recent show was with Artspa in Halifax in 2017.
Making art has been my passion for over 20 years; I love the variety in the Nova Scotia landscape and coastline and enjoy making art on site. I like to experiment with various media--watercolour, acrylic and oil.
