Vienneau, Carolyn

Carolyn was born into a third generation of fisherman in Pictou, Nova Scotia, a small fishing community. Carolyn grew up with a love of the sea and the boats that sailed it. Her passion and energy is very dominant in her paintings. Her sharp contrasts of dark against light express a feeling of moodiness often associated with the sea. Paintings can be seen at Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou; Justice Complex, Pictou; and Gallery 448, New Glasgow.
