We asked the artist:

What is your biggest indulgence as an artist?

Never leaving the art supply store empty handed.

What is important to you as an artist?

Scheduling and dedicating specific time to be creative.

What themes or symbols are important to you as an artist?

I am drawn to everyday ordinary scenes, objects and situations. I find myself often painting my surroundings, the streets I frequent or objects in my home.

If you were to hang one work of art by another artist in your home, which would you choose?

Amy Ordoveza's work is incredible! Her approach to detail amazes me and is completely different from how I would approach the creative process.
