    Bailee Higgins (she/her) is a visual artist based in Unama’ki - Cape Breton. Her art practice aims at capturing light. She creates vibrant acrylic paintings inspired by her surroundings and life. Bailee is a graduate of NSCAD’s Master of Arts in Art Education (2022), Mount Allison University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (2020), and CBU’s Bachelor of Education (2024). She currently resides in Westmount, NS and works as an art teacher.

    It’s Golden is inspired by golden hour and nights spent at home, I am to capture the joy, warmth, love, and happiness that I feel with my partner.
