Buying paint and canvas. And lipstick.

What is important to you as an artist?

Time - to think and work.

What challenges you the most in your practice?

Anxiety, an upward trajectory - hard to simply rest.

What themes or symbols are important to you as an artist?

No specific theme or symbol. If what I am painting moves me, then I hope others can connect.

If you were to hang one work of art by another artist in your home, which would you choose?

Wow. So Hard. “Monk By the Sea” by Caspar Friedrich.
