Collection: Blick, Julian

Julian first became interested in painting as a young child watching my father, a successful amateur artist, paint at home in England. He obtained an art qualification at school but did not pursue painting further, and instead went into his present occupation of landscape gardening.

ARTIST STATEMENT

As work and family allowed, I started painting again, won a few competitions and undertook occasional commissions. Since immigrating to Halifax, I have become fascinated by the wide range of different designs and colors of houses in Halifax, finding inspiration in them to do more work.
