Annabelle has painted in watercolor for many years, but is now exploring the world of acrylics. Her journey with painting has been a long winding road inspired by nature, street scenes, fishing villages and boats. She's lucky to be able to visit the same rural areas enjoy the ever changing light, weather, season and time of day. This provides her with never-ending material to work from.

I am inspired by the mood created by how sunlight transforms a flat subject into an exciting composition of light, reflections, interesting shadows and textures.  I use bold colours and realistic details to express freedom, mystery and beauty.
