Artist Statement
Although I have never formally studied art, painting has become joyful and
meaningful part of my life. My work is rooted in realism, focusing on capturing
the quiet beauty of everyday life. Through careful observation and detail, I
aim to reveal the depth and emotion that exist within simple scenes. Painting
allows me to slow down time and find meaning in what is often overlooked.
I love to paint flowers and fruit in detail. Colour and texture inspire me and I
believe that colour soothes the heart. Recently I have become interested in
realism and hyper realism and practising with subjects. What I am interested
in these days is rain drops so I go out on rainy days and try to take good photos
of the rain.
