Collection: Omelchuk, Yana

Yana Omelchuk is a Ukrainian artist who moved to Canada in February 2023. She spent almost 5 years of her life working at sea before 2021. This influenced her art, and she started drawing maritime pictures.

A self-taught 2D artist, Yana drew a project for a top 10 App Store game: Fishdom.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My pictures come from the bottom of my heart, reflecting my dreams and my state of mind. I use different styles and always experiment with my materials. I have a plethora of ideas to be realized in the future. After visiting Venice, I was inspired by Renaissance artwork, and I'm now practicing in this style.
