Artist Statement
I paint primarily in response to the landscape. I try to reflect the sweep of openness of the land, as well as the intricate complexity of the scene. I do this by using high contrasts and great detail. My compositions endeavour to create something that reflects my vision for humans to be keepers of the earth, living in harmony with creation.
